My Journey

Hi, I'd like to share some of my journey with you.

I established Construction Co Streetwear in 2004 with a view to provide NZ women with directional, edgy casual streetwear. I found my niche in the styles I created, which gave me a real point of difference.

I love working with Military, Victorian influences. The resulting looks are often directional and slightly tailored with a grungy edge.

I wanted to share my love of my craft with other women who were looking for that edge. My vision has always been to help create confidence and empowerment when my customers wear my pieces. I am not governed  by fashion fads but work creatively, listening and observing carefully to what the needs of  women are  today. Combining all of that with my artwork and designs, I concentrate on comfort of fit, tailoring, form and texture. I prefer to work in dark mediums but love to break out with one or two colours for the season. I adore prints and print making and love watching my garments come to life.
